The Knife & Fork offers a unique dining experience in an Atlantic City landmark. With five distinct dining areas, seating from 8 to 80 for sit down dinners (more for cocktail parties), we can offer the perfect spot for any event—anniversary or birthday party, business dinner, bachelor or bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, bridal or baby shower, or even an intimate wedding! Our exquisite menus, Prohibition-era ambiance and professional service will make any occasion an event to remember!

Private Dinner Menus
Cocktail Party & Stations Menus
Capacity: 12 sit down.
Located on the second floor, the uniquely shaped Pageant Room, adorned with historical photos from the Miss America Pageant’s early days, seats up to 12 people at one round table. The room is equipped with two flat screen TVs and lap top hookup, perfect for business presentations or small dinner parties. A period chandelier gently lights the room, which also features large windows on three of its four walls.
Capacity: 40 sit down; 45 cocktails.
The Hearth Room, on the first floor, was formerly the Knife & Fork’s bar when it originally opened as a private club for men in 1912. The original fire place, mahogany wainscoting, and views of the state of the art kitchen give the hearth room a warm, welcoming feel. The walls and ceiling are painted a rich gold, illuminated by a sea of lanterns. The Hearth Room is handicapped accessible.
Main Dining Room
Capacity: 60 -80 sit down; 100-120 cocktails.
Our largest dining area, the Main Dining Room on the second floor has a full bar, making it a perfect location for cocktail parties. The vaulted ceiling has been painstakingly restored to its former elegance and the original arched windows offer views on three sides of the room. A hand painted Prohibition-era mural graces one wall and dramatic period chandeliers illuminate the ceiling.
Capacity: 20 sit down.
The Ladies’ Dining Lounge, while open to all, is a nod to the Knife & Fork’s early years as a private men’s club when ladies were required to enter through a back staircase and remain in a side room adjoining the Main Dining Room. Stained glass windows were replaced with clear glass to take advantage of the magnificent ocean views. The Ladies Lounge can be used in conjuction with the Main Dining Room, which increases the capacity to 80 for a sit down dinner and 120 for a cocktail party.
Capacity: 40 sit down; 60 cocktails.
The third floor of the Knife & Fork, formerly an apartment for the restaurant’s owners, has been converted into a private function space. The Wine Room features ocean views, wood floors, exposed brick and a peak into our extensive wine collection, impressively displayed on floor to ceiling racks in our glass enclosed, temperature and humidity controlled wine “cellar.” The room is equipped with an LCD projector and screen available for rental.
Bar & Beverage Service
Beverages are charged on a per drink consumption basis. Cocktail prices range from $7 to $14, sodas and ice tea are $3 and beers are between $3.50 and $10. It is advisable to ask for a copy of our extensive wine list or wines by the glass options to arrange for your wines in advance, especially for larger groups. Our in-house wine director can assist with your selection.
We are happy to accommodate guests who require vegetarian meals or have other dietary restrictions. Advance notice is appreciated but not required.
The final guaranteed number of guests for your function must be provided two days prior to the event. This number will serve as a guide for your minimum billing charges. Knife & Fork Inn will make every effort to accommodate last minute increases in party size.

Hours of Operation
The Knife & Fork is open 7 days a week at 4:00 pm, serving dinner starting at 5:00 pm. We are open for lunch every Friday at 11:30 am. Lunch events can be booked outside normal hours of operation with a $1500 food and beverage minimum. PLEASE NOTE: The summer is our busiest season and most rooms will not be available for private events on Friday and Saturday nights from mid-May to mid-September.
The Knife and Fork offers complimentary valet parking. Guests may also self-park in the lot adjacent to the restaurant and street parking is available.
Audio-visual equipment is available for rent at the restaurant. Please note that room capacities are slightly lower when audiovisual equipment is required. Use of the two flat-screen TVs in the Pageant Room is complimentary.
